Avantgarde Acoustics strømkabel udført i 50-ledet sølvbelagt OFC kobber. Isoleringen er temperaturbestandig FEP-teflon og yderstrømpe er transparent polymer. Kablet er udført med rhodiumbelagte ben i karbonstik. Kablet er modsat de fleste andre strømkabler meget fleksibelt og nemt at lægge pænt.

Consists of 3 braided wires with a cross-section of 2.5 mm2, each wire comprising 50 strands of silver-plated OFC copper. This construction enables high current delivery even with demanding dynamic music, while at the same time providing excellent long-term stability.

Protected against external stray electrical fields (“electric smog”) is realized by a spirally wrapped shield, also made from silver-plated copper strands for maximum conductivity and perfect oxidation protection.

The wires of the mains current and earth conductors are insulated with durable FEP Teflon, perfectly protecting the conductors mechanically and optimising electrical properties.

The outer diameter of the protective sheathing is made of transparent polyurethane (8.2 mm diameter), which makes the cable pleasantly flexible for connection and installation, while maintaining excellent current conductivity.

Wear-resistant, high-quality plugs with rhodium-plated contact pins are used for the mains and IEC connections. The rhodium plating ensures a tight fit and maximum contact reliability even with high impulse
currents.
