KEF gav udviklerne carte blanche til at skabe den bedste højttaler, med hverken restriktioner indenfor design eller omkostninger. Efter adskillige års udvikling og test, præsenterede de KEF Concept Blade. Den akustiske præcision var allerede enestående, men de fortsatte et par år mere og skabte KEF Blade.
Seneste version fra 2022 benytter metamateriale (MAT™) som absorberer 99 procent af de uønskede lydbølger bag enheden og sænker forvrængningen betydeligt.
KEF Blade benytter et ideal om, at lyden skal komme fra det samme punkt (single source) hvilket sker med placering af enheder meget tæt på hinanden, 4 stk 9" basser samt UniQ kombineret diskant/mellemtone giver den utroligt sammenhængende lyd.

Since 1961, we have been creating remarkable award-winning loudspeakers at our UK home in Maidstone, Kent. As our flagship HiFi speakers, Blade is still being designed, engineered, and handcrafted in Maidstone.
